One auto save for all tools (computer only)

On a computer, choose a folder once and every save, on any Nivesh Sahayak site or in the App, keeps one full backup file there up to date. A OneDrive or Google Drive folder is best: it then goes to the cloud by itself.

Step by step

  1. Use Chrome or Edge on a computer. Auto-save to a folder works on a computer only. On a phone or tablet, save a backup file now and then.
  2. Open the setting. On my.niveshsahayak.in: Backup and other devices › Auto-save and storage, card One auto save for all tools (computer only). From another tool, the button opens My data in a new tab.
  3. Choose a folder. Press Choose a folder and pick the folder, for example Documents › OneDrive › NS backup. Allow the browser to edit files there.
  4. It works everywhere. From now on every save in billing, quotation, the App and all other tools updates nivesh-sahayak-backup.json in that folder, a moment after you save.
  5. After a restart. If a bar says Auto-save is paused, press Resume auto-save (or Allow auto-save again) and choose Allow on every visit.

Worked example

You choose "C:\Users\Ramesh\OneDrive\NS backup". You save an invoice in billing: within two seconds nivesh-sahayak-backup.json in that folder is updated, and OneDrive uploads it. If the laptop is stolen, restore that file on a new laptop.
