Add your business (and more than one)

The business is the seller on your documents. Its name, address, GSTIN, bank details, logo and signature print on every bill. You can keep several businesses, each with its own numbering and accounts.

Step by step

  1. Open My businesses. In My data choose My businesses › Add a business.
  2. Business name * and address. Address, City / town, PIN code, State. City and PIN are needed for e-invoice and e-way bill.
  3. GST details. GSTIN (the state fills in from its first two digits and the check digit is tested), GST registration (regular, composition, unregistered, SEZ) and Your turnover. You can fill the details from the GST portal: see GSTIN help.
  4. Contact and bank. Phone, Email, Bank name, Account number, IFSC, Branch and UPI ID (for the pay-by-QR code).
  5. Logo and Signature or stamp. Pick a PNG or JPG; it prints on documents.
  6. Type of business. Proprietor, partnership firm, LLP, company or trust/society. A firm or LLP also lists each Partner's name, Profit share %, Interest on capital % a year and Salary a year (Rs).
  7. Save, then Make default. With more than one business, press Make default on the one a new document should start with.

Worked example

Sharma Hardware, Shop 12, Gill Road, Ludhiana 141003, Punjab, GSTIN 03ABCPS1234K1ZW, regular GST, UPI sharmahardware@upi. Every invoice now prints these details and a UPI QR code for the bill amount.
